Marina Guedes started sailing in 2016. She hosts the Maré Sonora (which in English means Resonant Tide) podcast. You can listen to the episode about sailing the Lofoten islands at www.pbo.co.uk/lofoten. Marina’s first voyage took four years, and saw her sail from the USA to Australia. Recently, she joined a two-month cruise in the Southern Ocean, through South Georgia and the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. The vessel was skippered by ice sailing pioneer, Jérôme Poncet.
